This site is dedicated to the memory of Reg Hark.

Your life long battle was finally lost with dignity and pride on 26th July 2013 You are greatly missed XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX For Reg, Dad, Boy A Biker, Bus Driver, Teddy Boy, Wind-Up-Merchant, Unforgettable ‘Character’, Caring Friend, Talker-for-England, loving devoted husband and father. Reginald Thomas Hark was born in Bethnal Green on 26th June 1940, leaving London for the country (Welwyn Garden City!) when he married Gillian in 1967. From early childhood, he struggled with lung, chest and breathing illnesses – but it never stopped him having endless hobbies/interests and living life to the full. 5 years ago he was diagnosed with COPD and started to receive great medical support. He benefited greatly from advances in technology driven by charities such as BLF that delivered precious oxygen to him around the clock. He also found the BLF’s Breathe Easy meetings extremely beneficial – meeting others in similar circumstances, learning more about COPD and gaining confidence to deal with life’s new challenges. He would want others to be helped as he was. Please join us in remembering Reg and give generously to BLF to continue their work. Love from Gillian, Christine, John, Jacqueline and Phil xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 16th August - thank you all for your generous donations so far. We have been overwhelmed with support and so far increased our fund raising target from £150 to £500 and now to £2000! If we raise £2000 a tree will be planted for Reg in his memory by the BLF, which he would have loved. Even if it takes us years to achieve this, we will leave the tribute fund running untill we do so Love from Gillian, Christine, John, Jacqueline and Phil xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
